AAGMAN “THE ARRIVAL” LOCAL FILM TT$200

Aagman is a part-fiction Trinidadian film written and directed by Dr. Neera Varsha Parsan. It was produced by a local group named Parsan Productions, which is an NGO dedicated to preserving East Indian and Caribbean culture through film, music, and theatrical productions.

Aagman is not a documentary, rather it is an entertainment-styled feature film about the personal lives of the East Indian indentured laborers. The plot shows the personal circumstances that led the characters to leave India. When they arrive in Trinidad, they become a support system for each other.

The film contains 7 original Hindi songs, all written and composed by Dr. Parsan. The entire cast and crew is 100% Trinidadian.

Tickets are all general admission priced at $200, inclusive of refreshments.
