Adavallan Art Academy – Sat Chit Ananda – Sat 13th Aug 7pm

Adavallan Art Academy, through a Bharatanatyam repertoire, explores the Sanskrit term ‘Sat Chit Ananda’ which translates to ‘Truth, Consciousness and Bliss’. The Bharatanatyam narrative has a definite traditional order of items set out to impart the knowledge of the interminable truth – “All human beings are the limited manifestation of the Ultimate Being” and suggests that the goal of every being in the world is, “the reunion of the soul with the Absolute Soul”. The recital suggests a spiritual path and highlights that the knowledge of Truth is bliss. We offer our dance as a prayer that adores the great creator and liberator, who out of love and compassion manifests to protect us.
