Celebrating 10 years of African Cinema in Trinidad and Tobago!

For the past decade, Africa Film TT (AFTT) has been committed to bringing the richness of African and diaspora storytelling to our screens. It has been an incredible journey filled with unforgettable films, enriching experiences, and remarkable growth.

As we reflect on the past ten years, we are reminded of the amazing achievements of filmmakers from Africa and its diaspora, as well as the contributions of our own Trinidad and Tobago filmmakers.

From groundbreaking narratives to innovative filmmaking, African cinema has captivated audiences worldwide. It is a joy to experience the beauty and resilience of the African continent through these incredible films that have graced our festival.

This milestone edition of AFTT finds us in a spirit of celebration and gratitude. To all our sponsors, partners, and collaborators, we are immensely grateful for your support which has been integral to the growth and success of AFTT.

Many thanks to our dedicated AFTT team and volunteers whose passion and hard work bring our vision to life year after year. To our cherished audience, we offer our sincerest gratitude for your unwavering support and enthusiasm. Your presence, engagement, and love for African and diaspora cinema continue to fuel our journey and inspire us.
