The ‘Trini’ story of a boy called “Piñotito” carries us on a journey of a wooden carnival doll created by the greedy owner of the toy shop. He, along with other characters, are then by brought to ‘life’ by a magical fairy, who take on the quest of finding positive human traits to instill in “Piñotito” for him to get his dream of becoming a real boy. Along this magical journey, the characters learn to understand the importance of school, telling the truth, the importance of not talking to strangers, listening to your parents/guardians, trusting your conscience and other positive traits as well as our local culture of carnival.
