COCO Dance Festival

The 2017 Coco Dance Festival kicks off at 5:30pm on Friday 27^th  with the “Coco Happy Hour” in the Queen’s Hall Lobby with specialty drinks including  ‘Dance De Coco’ signature cocktail and ‘Absolut Attitude”  Vodka cocktail. Early bird patrons will be privy to pre-show performances in the Lobby which will include Contact improvisation with Jacob Cino & dance crew and an Outdoor Dance Installation Continuum Dance Project featuring a short excerpt of the Nelken Line by the famous German choreographer, Pina Bausch. The International Dance Show case will begin in the Auditorium at 6:30pm with the Toula Limnaios Dance Company of Germany presenting “Tempus Fugit”

Saturday 28^th is the date for the Dance Showcase & Dance De COCO Dance Off Finals at 7:30pm. Judges will include Welcome music producer, DJ, entertainer and dancer – 1st Klase, dancer/choreographer Heather Henderson and US actor and theatre practitioner Malik Yoba. The finale on Sunday 29^th October will feature International Guest Choreographers from USA & Venezuela. Tickets priced at $150 are available from 10am to 6pm from the QH Box Office.
