When Love Came Down

Don’t miss this exciting and entertaining production by The Love Movement, one for the entire family. Entitled “When Love Came Down” it takes place at Queen’s Hall from Friday November 4th through Sunday, November 6th, 2016. Showtimes on Friday and Saturday are 8pm and on Sunday 6pm. Tickets will also be available at the Queen’s Hall Box Office starting from Monday, Oct 10th from 12 noon to 6pm.

The program begins with The Lights of Love Children’s Choir with “Disney Dazzle” a musical mélange of the best loved music from popular Disney Musicals, including “Beauty and the Beast”, “Little Mermaid” and “Aladdin”. The Love Movement Republic Bank Youth Outreach Group, will then showcase excerpts from the popular Broadway Musical “Grease” and the Senior Choir will take everyone down memory lane with songs from the unforgettable Motown era. The entire cast will then join hearts and voices to end the evening with a mini-musical that brings to life the wonderful story of Christmas, with popular and well-loved Christmas favourites.

The production is under the expert musical and artistic direction of Bernadette Scott. The drama director is Dr. Helmer Hilwig, with stage and set designs by Trinidad’s foremost designer, Brian Mac Farlane of Mac Farlane Design Studios, along with exciting choreography by Heather Henderson-Gordon, Francesca Vazzana, Lesley Lewis-Alleyne and Keisha Knox.

Proceeds from these concerts go to The Love Movement Republic Bank Youth Outreach Programme.
