Metamorphosis Dance Company presents its 19th Annual Dance Season “Perception” on Thursday 1st May 2014 at 6.30 p.m. and continuing Friday 2nd May at 6.30 p.m., Saturday 3rd May at 7.30 p.m. and Sunday 4th May at 6.30 p.m. 

Tickets $100 (Thu and Fri) ; $150 – (Sat and Sun)

Tickets are available at Caribbean School of Dancing 2a Dere Street, 625-3225 and will be on sale at the Queen’s Hall box office the week of the show. The season is a collaborative artistic production with music by Etienne Charles, choreography by Bridgette Wilson and visual and kinestic design by Simone Phillips. Etienne Charles is an international recording artist, composer, arranger, assistant professor of Jazz studies at Michigan state University.

He first played with Metamorphosis in their 2000 dance season “Dance Spirit” at the St. James Amphitheatre accompanying his sister Abby who was at the time soloist with Metamorphosis. Some of the Music from his Creole Soul album will be danced by the corp de ballet. Bridgette Wilson graduated from York University in Canada and is a dancer, the choreographer and rehearsal director of the Company. Simone Phillips has been designing for Metamorphosis for over ten years and once again brings her creativity to this project.
