What is the Folk Presentation about?

The Folk Presentations is a short format competition in music, dance, and drama. Groups prepare 4-minute performance pieces utilising aspects of traditional culture. African, Indian, and French-influenced dance and music, for example, showcase the inherited technical and traditional skills for these performances as taught by the tutors.

The Folk Presentation Competition is an exciting and entertaining showcase of traditional performances mixed in with innovative additions and modern culture. You can see the Folk Music and Dance Finals free of charge at Queens Hall this Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th July 6 pm sharp.
