QH TOGETHER 2024 Sat 21st Sep 2024 MORNING “Film Screenings and Cultural Performances”

Film Screenings and Cultural performances (Morning Session 11:00am – 3:45pm) featuring:

• Ryuumei Wadaiko  – A traditional Taiko drumming performance
• Yosakoi Dance performance & Ryuumei Wadaiko
• Kendo and Judo performance – The transition from a fighting technique used for harm to a program used for self-development, followed by the joint demonstration by 20 performers
• Iai and Sumie performance – A collaborative performance by iai fencers and an ink painting artist, featuring a story about the year 2024, “the year of the Dragon”, with recitation of Japanese Poetry. Q&A session with the audience after the performance.
• Japanese Film Screening Time of EVE the Movie (Animation)***
• Live broadcast with Japanese Soca singer Ann G and airing of “Oideyo” VIDEO featuring LYRICAL

*** Time of Eve rated PG for Suggestive themes, minor language, some scenes may be a bit intense for children under 10
