It is in this spirit that I warmly invite you to join us for our Masterclass Huddle at Queen’s Hall, ‘a flare for freedom’, a gathering rooted in the collective mission of igniting African consciousness, dismantling colonial legacies as espoused by the ESCTT and re-imagining the future of our creative expression and process.

This conversation is not simply about fashion but includes Carnival. It is about freedom.
It is about consciously stripping away the practices that endanger our planet, compromise public health, and diminish the life chances of future generations.

Just as we continue the work of freeing ourselves from inherited colonial structures that no longer serve our highest potential, we must also examine the creative systems and habits that shape the worlds we build around us.

Aligned with the BCRC’s regional sustainability mission, this dialogue invites us to explore pathways toward ethical, liberating, and life-affirming creative practice — particularly within Carnival, fashion, and cultural production.

Our mission is to shape a new Caribbean aesthetic — one grounded in sovereignty, sustainability, consciousness, and cultural confidence. Ours is a uniquely New World space, born from hybridity and transformation, and perhaps because of this, we are positioned to offer the world a new template for creative living: one where heritage and responsibility coexist beautifully.
