Can’t get the rights to produce Cinderella the Broadway Musical, because it’s running on Broadway right now? Then write your own original Cinderella story about a girl born and raised right here in Trinidad and Tobago! That’s what The Baggasse Company did late last year, when they could not get the licence to produce the Rodgers and Hammerstein version.

Cinderella the Trinidad and Tobago musical is the classic Cinderella story told our way, with our music, our language – including the beautifully lyrical lilt of patois, our folklore characters… is our take on an iconic moral tale about the triumph of good over evil.

Bagasse has pulled out all the stops to create a musical worthy of Broadway and the West End with costuming, sets, acting and singing par excellence! Audiences will experience the gamut of emotions – from comedy, to suspense, to tragedy and everything in between. The cliffhanger at the end will have people buzzing for days after…

Complete with catchy original music, Cinderella the Trinidad and Tobago musical is set to go down in our history and it will resonate with Caribbean people the world over.

Cinderella the Trinidad and Tobago Musical runs at SAPA from September 17th – 20th and at Queen’s Hall from September 24 – 27th. There are also daytime school shows for the kids!
