A classic tale of tragic love takes on a new face next month when the Shiv Kala Kendra Dance Company presents “Hamsaanandi”, a modern interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet, “Swan Lake”.

The beloved dance theatre piece will be performed in the classical Indian style of Kathak and according to troupe teacher, Veejhi Seeramlal, the presentation will also commemorate the dance company’s 25th aniversary.
